I’m Jérôme Leroy, a French-American composer and pianist.

A man wearing glasses and a cream-colored sweater playing an upright piano with its internal strings and hammers visible, in a room with wooden walls and music sheets on a stand.

I began studying music in Paris at a young age and spent the last twenty years writing for film, television, and the media industry at large.

For most of my career, I’ve been helping others tell their stories — through music that gives breath, emotion, and texture to their worlds.

But over time, I began to feel the pull toward something more personal. I realized that while I had always been a storyteller at heart, I had rarely told my own story.

This glimmer of a flame that never really disappeared started growing again, in parallel with a long period of personal reflection and healing.

My recent work, including On Auroras and Twilights, is born from that search. It explores the spaces between light and shadow, calm and turbulence — the quiet thresholds where emotion lives before it ever has words.

Guided by the desire to intently listen to the person within, my music aims to (re)discover how to express that inner truth—in the hope it resonates with you, too.
