On Auroras and Twilights
A Journey Through Light and Renewal
The Story
After twenty years away from the stage, I’m returning to live performance.
What began as an exploration of personal recovery has become an invitation to step back into the light. To embrace imperfection. To reconnect through music.
This concert is the culmination of years of silence, rediscovery, and the slow rebuilding of an artist’s voice.
It’s not just a performance — it’s a conversation about resilience and beauty.
Act 1: Sunrise
emergence and awakening
Act 2: Traces
memory and longing
Each act captures a different emotional landscape — from fragility to catharsis — always anchored in sincerity and hope.
Act 3: Shadows
loss and resilience
Act 4: Radiances
acceptance and renewal
The Experience
An intimate performance where acoustic and electronic worlds meet.
A small ensemble — piano, strings, keyboards, and electronic percussion — unfolds across four acts that mirror the arc of healing.
The Artist
I’m Jérôme Leroy, a composer whose music has been heard in films, television, video games, and live shows around the world. Over the past twenty years, I’ve had the privilege to work alongside legendary artists including Andrea Bocelli, Céline Dion, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand, and Paul McCartney, as well as on iconic and groundbreaking productions like The Hunger Games for Lionsgate, The Tale of Despereaux for Universal Studios, Ridley Jones for Netflix, and several Academy Awards ceremonies.
From sweeping cinematic scores to intimate, heart-stirring moments, my music aims to blend technical mastery with deep emotional resonance. Outside film and TV, my music has brought stories to life worldwide, including in experiences at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Avengers Campus at Disneyland parks, and Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts at Universal Studios Orlando.
More usually found in the recording studios — including in such renowned halls as Abbey Road Studios in London, Ocean Way in Nashville, or the Newman Scoring Stage in Los Angeles — I’m for the first time bringing my music directly to the stage. My goal is for this concert to provide an immersive journey of sound, light, and emotion, where every note, silence, and crescendo tells a story that will move and stay with you long after the final bow.
More than a concert, it’s a shared moment of emotional and reflective storytelling.
The Music
The music blends neoclassical lyricism with electronic textures — intimate, cinematic, and emotionally direct.
Performed live, the concert features:
Felt Piano: the heartbeat of the music, often exposed and unaccompanied, capturing vulnerability and immediacy.
Strings: a small quartet weaving at turns sadness, tension, warmth, dynamism, and joy throughout the narrative.
Keyboards & Synths: modern tonal colors and textures that evoke memory and distance, convey longing and loneliness, or act as emotional support.
Electronic Percussion: subtle, atmospheric rhythms that punctuate and propel without dominating.
Some pieces are drawn from my latest album, On Auroras and Twilights, while others are new compositions created specifically for this concert. Together, they form a cohesive journey — a sonic reflection of light, shadow, and renewal.
This is music that breathes — alive in the room, intimate yet cinematic, offering each audience member a direct line to the heart of the story.
The Vision
On Auroras and Twilights marks the beginning of a new chapter:
a concert that will be filmed, recorded, and shared as part of a larger creative revival.
It’s the seed of a longer-term artistic series exploring emotional truth in live performance, each one intimate, cinematic, and deeply human.
This project invites participation from those who believe in the power of authenticity in art.
Your support helps bring this vision to life — from rehearsals and venue to recording and film capture — enabling a rare and deeply human performance to reach wider audiences.
Let’s bring timeless emotions to life, together.
“After 25 years, I’m finally stepping back into the light.”
— Jérôme Leroy
